I travelled to Fargo, ND this week to volunteer at a National Kidney Foundation kidney screening. Since travel food has no calories, I have been known to eat biscuits and gravy everyday for a week while in OK. Walking the walking and not just talking the talking means for me, applying the principles and knowledge of nutrition even what I don’t want to. I KNOW that every little choice adds up to better health or declining health, so I opted for a strawberry smoothie the morning of the event. That is not to say I will never eat biscuits and gravy again-just that to automatically splurge based on the simple fact of geography really doesn’t make sense. And, it was yummy!
