TBT is a great time to reflect on making and keeping connections

Walnut Ridge or Bust Road Trip 2015 gave our mother, Shirley, the opportunity to spend precious time with her youngest sister, Laura. It had been several years since they had enjoyed each other’s company face-to-face.  The phone is and has been their main way to stay close.

We are proud of our heritage-good people, hard-working and church going.  Aunt Laura represents the strong woman we all desire to be.  She asked me if I ever thought a woman would be president!  Although, the extent of her tech communications is the phone, we honor her and are happy to include her as an iSissies-our virtual sisterhood.

Throwback Thursday is an opportunity for us to look back, savor some memories and, maybe, reconnect with a loved one.  We were blessed to reconnect with our family recently, and will treasure/savor those memories.  How about you?  Is there an aging aunt that you might reach out to today?
