Grandpa-spratt-closeup
Grandpa-spratt Meet Robert Anderson Spratt. It is my husband’s grandfather. I love this whole thing. It is a picture of him in his military uniform. The Spratt’s must have been people with “means”. This young man had a hand-painted monogrammed shaving mug. It has his name on it. We also think this must be the shaving brush he also used. What I wanted to talk about was his middle name. His mother’s maiden name was Anderson… so there you go. They had a son. They named him Robert Browning Spratt. That’s because his mother’s maiden name was Browning… so there you go. They had a son. They named him Robert Currie Spratt. Yes, his mother’s maiden name was Currie… and I’m not lying. They had a son. They named him Robert Dean Spratt… but that is because that whole maiden name thing was out the window now. They had a son. They named him Robert Elijah Spratt. . . so there you go. Robert A, Robert B, Robert C, Robert D, Robert E Spratt. What a legacy. And a whole lot of pressure. Could make us start getting involved with what girl Robert Elijah is dating!!!
