Words as art-I love that trend. As I was redecorating my little home office, I came across some scrapbook paper that looked great with my “inspiration piece”, the ratty to outragous chair. After a trip to Wal-mart for some 12×12 frames, I had them framed and on the wall.
But they looked so alone there in the middle of the wall. That’s when I decided to fill my space with words to live by-phrases, words, cards, plaques. Little treasured thoughts that would act as affirmations through out the day-to remind me that God is good, there is joy in everyday life, that love and relationships are at the center of a happy life.

My office-and Romeo-my ever present companion, loves the new chair.

A reminder on the face of my computer-always reminding me that taking a break will refresh me in mind and spirit

open, honest conversations-that’s why I love my sisters-we do that all the time

The most treasured heirlooms are the memories our families bestow upon us.

Life is a blend of love and loss, but love is always stronger. My son is always clever in his card selections. This is a sympathy card that he converted to a Mother’s Day card. Profound words when viewed from a mother’s point of view.

“We do not remember days, we remember moments.”I love this little plaque-it was a gift from Karen in 1974

A reminder to me that gratitude is key to a happy life
